, scrap piles, and much more. Doing so will deplete a small amount of stamina. The Basic Wrench can be equipped to the player's hotbar for easy access, and the game will also automatically switch to the tool for items that require dismantling.
The player will acquire the blueprint during the Helping Copperbottom quest.

Craft a Wrench[]
- The blueprint for the Basic Wrench is given to the player by Copperbottom after rescuing him from a cruel and rusty fate in Helping Copperbottom. Following the player introducing themselves, Copperbottom gives the blueprint to the player to aid in collecting resources. This triggers the sub-quest "Craft a Wrench."
- The Journal entry for Craft a Wrench reads: "Copperbottom is worried about my lack of metal hands that can easily dismantle metal debris, so he did me a solid and gave me a blueprint for a wrench. Armed with this knowledge I should be able to just gather up a few materials and craft one for myself. Just check the crafting journal to see what is needed. Once I have crafted a wrench, I should head to the workshop and speak to Copperbottom again."
