- This quest is initiated by Sammi either towards the end of the first day on the island or when the player has depleted a significant amount of their stamina, whichever comes first. He will express concern at the player looking exhausted and suggest they make food and then get some sleep. This triggers the sub-quests "Prepare to Cook," "It's Grilling Time," and "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep."
- The Journal entry for Prepare to Cook reads: "Sammi told me that I could use a campfire to cook food in order to make it better. The first step is to craft and place a Campfire."
- The Journal entry for It's Grilling Time reads: "Now that I've got a campfire set up, I need something to cook. Sammi told me that I could put a Drumstick Stalk into the campfire, and it would make a Grilled Meat. If I want to make other recipes, I should experiment by trying to cook different ingredients and see what happens."
- Following the completion of Out of Energy, Sammi will provide the player with a recipe for the .
